StitchBinder app privacy
How the StitchBinder desktop and mobile apps handle your account, designs, projects and supplies.
Effective October 1, 2026
What stays on your device
Your desktop catalog and original embroidery files stay on your computer unless you choose a supported transfer or cloud feature. Opening a local file does not by itself upload it. Manual project imports are snapshots. Mobile apps keep downloaded content and pending changes locally so you can work with saved information offline.
Accounts and sign-in
Account features process your email address, account ID, sign-in credentials or provider tokens, and account status. If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, the provider may also supply a name and profile information. We use this information to authenticate you, protect your account and give you access to your own content. Sign-in tokens are stored using the device’s secure storage. We do not ask for your Google or Apple password.
Cloud content and synchronization
When you use account-connected features, we process the content you choose to synchronize: design files and previews, filenames and design information, project names and notes, supply checks, cabinet inventory, quantities and shopping lists. This content is associated with your account. Account-connected project notes and supply changes synchronize while the app is open; background delivery is not guaranteed. The app does not provide a public social feed or a public design marketplace.
Provider-backed folders that you select are also subject to that storage provider’s terms and privacy practices. Independently exported or shared copies are controlled by their recipients.
Access, purchases and desktop licensing
Mobile apps display your existing account access and do not collect payment-card details or provide in-app checkout. When website purchases are available, Stripe processes checkout. We keep the transaction references, amounts, currency, plan and access dates needed to provide access, handle refunds and prevent repeated promotional benefits. Desktop licensing also uses a generated installation identifier, device label and public key to manage the account’s computer allowance. These are not advertising identifiers.
Support and technical information
If you choose to send a support request, we receive your email, message and any information or attachments you include. The app’s feedback feature prepares a draft with your message, app version and platform; you review and send it using your email or sharing app. It does not automatically send your designs, passwords or diagnostic logs.
Our hosting and authentication providers process network information such as IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, and errors to deliver and protect the service. We do not include advertising SDKs or use your designs or account information for advertising tracking. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers and security
Supabase provides account authentication and database services. Cloudflare hosts the website and cloud transfer services and stores cloud files. Email providers, including Google Workspace and the configured transactional email service, deliver account and support messages. Stripe processes website payments when enabled. Google or Apple handles sign-in when you choose that option. Providers process information needed to perform these services; processing may take place outside your country.
Connections to our account and cloud services use HTTPS. Access controls restrict account content to the authenticated account. Cloud synchronization is not represented as end-to-end encryption, and no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain active account and cloud content to provide the features you use. You can remove individual cloud files or request account deletion. Account deletion disables cloud access and removes your cloud content and account through a cleanup process; the app reports when a request is pending rather than promising immediate erasure. Associated service subscriptions are cancelled as part of that process.
Some limited payment, refund, security and prior-benefit records remain to prevent fraud, avoid granting the same included benefit again, resolve disputes and meet recordkeeping obligations. These minimum records do not have an automatic deletion deadline currently configured. They do not preserve your deleted design library, project notes or cabinet content. Provider backups, security logs and financial records follow their applicable retention processes. You may contact us about retained information.
Deleting an account does not erase desktop originals, files you exported, or copies on another device while it is offline. Keep any files you want before requesting deletion. See account and data deletion for instructions, including a request option if you cannot access the app.
Your choices and questions
You can use available local features without synchronizing content, choose which supported files to transfer, sign out, remove cloud files, or request account deletion. To ask for access, correction or deletion of information, email support@stitchbinder.com. We may need to verify ownership before changing or disclosing account information. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card numbers.
